The League Pledge

 

In fervent gratitude for the Savior’s dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption, we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have; and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields, we pledge Him our willing service wherever and whenever He has need of us.  We consecrate to our Savior our hands to work for Him, our feet to go on His errands, our voice to sing his praises, our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, our silver and our gold to extend His kingdom, our will to do his will, and every power of our life to the great task of bringing the lost and the erring into eternal fellowship with Him.  Amen

Mission Statement

The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the Lutheran Church-Canada in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so the she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

September 14th 2009: Cup O’Salad & Dessert - Parish Hall 6 p.m. - Bring your favorite salad ingredient. Lettuce, salad dressing and the desserts will be provided by the board. We have invited Kenny & Ellie Chitwood to speak about their missionary work in South Africa. Join us as we announce the 2009 - 2010 activities. Mite collection.

October 12th : Lutheran World Relief Health Kits and Bible Study - Parish Hall 6:30 p.m.  Mite collection.

December 9th : Care Packages for Military and Students in the Fireside Room 6:30 p.m.

December 14th : Christmas Party - 6 p.m. at the home of Viv Nadin, 1797 Lee St., Simi. Bring a wrapped gift of $10 or less for exchange. Bring finger food to share.

January 11th 2010 : Stitchin’ for Mission – Parish Hall 6:30 p.m.Cheryl Freet is the guest speaker. Mite collection.

February 8th : Care Packages for Military and Students - Parish Hall 6:30 p.m. Mite collection.
  
February 17th : Bunco Fundraiser - 6 p.m. Refreshment and Prizes. Mite collection.

April 12th:April Kitchen Shower - Parish Hall 6:30 p.m. Tracy, Ruth & Dorothy will talk about their Israel/Egypt trip. Mite collection..
