Welcome to the Music Ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church!
Music has the awesome ability to speak to our heads and hearts in a way nothing else can. Combined with the Good News, music teaches, soothes, inspires, and prepares us to hear God’s Word and then to go out and live life anew as children of God. We invite you to lift your praises to God with us.
Our Mission:
To provide opportunities to Trinity’s members, friends, and the community to be involved in music that glorifies God and proclaims the love of Christ.
Musical Opportunities:
Jubilate Ringers—A handbell-ringing choir for teens through adults that meets weekly from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursdays, playing a variety of anthems in Trinity’s praise and traditional worship services.
Trinity Singers—A vocal choir for teens through adults that meets weekly from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, singing a variety of Christian music anthems in Trinity’s praise and traditional worship services.
Praise band—An instrumental group of keyboard, guitars, bass, and percussion that meets weekly from 8:00-9:15 p.m. on Thursdays in preparation for playing in Trinity’s praise services. Other instruments are added when available.
Song leaders—A vocal group of teens through adults who rehearse before the worship services in preparation to lead the congregational singing of contemporary songs for Trinity’s praise services.
One need not be a member to participate in the music groups. Contact the church office for further information about any of these opportunities.
